Overview. Loop Capital has established itself as a new leader nationwide in the municipal finance industry. Since our founding in 1997, we have served as managing underwriter on municipal financings totaling over $356 billion, including over $64 billion in 2007 alone. We senior managed over $2.1 billion in financings in 2007, which is a 31% increase over 2006. As part of our commitment to providing superior integrated financial services, we are building on our strong base in fixed rate products with significant growth in variable rate securities and financial products.
Our municipal finance team of 16 veteran banking professionals is headed by Warren "Bo" Daniels, who prior to joining LCM was Vice President and Manager of the Midwest region for Goldman, Sachs & Co. Our fixed-rate practice is supported by strategic, structuring and financing advice from our team of six specialists.
Fixed Rate Products. Loop Capital has custom-tailored client solutions including debt restructurings, tender offers, municipal forwards, securitization of federal grants and other financial instruments.
Variable Rate Securities. In a very short time, Loop Capital has built an impressive variable rate book of over $4.5 billion in short term securities, serving as placement agent and remarketing agent. The product lines include: VRDNs, auction rate securities, tax-exempt commercial paper and short term notes.
